How we look after your data
In short: we only ask for what we need for your booking, the newsletter or a reply to you. We never sell your data. And you can ask us at any time what we know about you.
Who looks after your data?
Guacimara Acuña Díaz, the person behind Adaya Atelier. You will find us at Schaffhauserstrasse 121, 8152 Glattbrugg. If you have a question, just write to hi@adayaatelier.com.
What happens when you visit the site?
Like any website, our server makes a short note of each visit: IP address, time, page and browser. It needs this to keep everything running and safe. Our server is with GoDaddy, in France.
Our fonts live with us too, so your browser does not ask Google for anything.
And cookies?
Without your okay we only use the ones we need: for your language, for your choice in the cookie notice and for safe payments.
Google Analytics only joins in if you say yes. Then we see which pages people read, but not who you are. You can change your choice any time under “Cookies” at the bottom of the page.
What we need when you book
Your name, your email and, if you like, your phone number. That is how we save your spot and send you the confirmation. Bookings run on our own system, on our server.
So that nothing slips our mind, your appointment also shows up in our Google, Microsoft or Apple calendar.
If you pay online
You pay with Stripe. You type your card details directly there. We never see them.
The newsletter
If you sign up, we keep your email and, if you give it, your name. You are in once you confirm from the email we send you.
We see whether a newsletter was opened and whether a link was clicked. That tells us what you enjoy. Unsubscribing is one click, at the bottom of every email.
When you write to us
By email, phone or WhatsApp: we only use your details to reply. WhatsApp belongs to Meta. If you prefer, just send us an email.
Who else sees your data?
Only the services we need for all this, and only as much as necessary. Some are in the EU or the United States, and all of them follow rules that protect your data. You will find them below in the details.
How long we keep it
As long as needed. Booking and payment records have to be kept for ten years in Switzerland. Everything else we delete once we no longer need it.
What you can always do
Ask what we have stored about you. Have something corrected or deleted. Get a copy. Or tell us to stop using something. One email to hi@adayaatelier.com is enough.
And if our answer does not convince you, you can contact the Swiss data protection authority (FDPIC). If you live in the EU, also the one in your country.
